Sermon Title: The Revival Switch

Introduction

The Jubilee season is more than a celebration of God’s faithfulness over the past 50 years. It is a prophetic season of release, restoration, revival and divine fulfilment.

Jubilee reminds us that God works through seasons, cycles, patterns and appointed times. What He has spoken does not expire; His Word remains active until it is fulfilled.

1. Jubilee Is a Season of Restoration

Leviticus 25 presents Jubilee as a time when land was restored, slaves were released and debts were cancelled.

This reveals God’s heart for restoration.

There are things God has given His people that may have been lost, stolen or surrendered during difficult seasons. Jubilee serves as a reminder that God is able to restore what has been lost.

The message encouraged believers to expect restoration in areas such as:

• Peace and joy
• Security
• Health
• Finances and resources
• Relationships
• Opportunities
• Purpose and destiny

Jubilee declares that restoration is possible because God has not forgotten His promises.

2. Freedom Comes With Restoration

Jubilee is not simply about being released from bondage. It is also about being restored to what was lost.

The Exodus was used as an illustration. When Israel left Egypt after generations of slavery, they did not leave empty-handed. God gave them favour and provision as they departed.

In the same way, God’s freedom is intended to position His people to worship Him and fulfil their purpose with what He has provided.

Acts 3:19–21 points toward a time of refreshing and restoration of all things.

The message therefore encouraged believers to believe that God can restore not only freedom, but also what was lost during seasons of bondage.

3. Jubilee Is a Prophetic Appointment

God works through appointed seasons.

The biblical feasts were described as divine appointments through which God revealed His purposes. Jubilee represents a significant prophetic pattern—a season of reset, release and fulfilment.

The Feast of Trumpets, for example, announced the beginning of a new season. Jubilee similarly announces that a new season has arrived.

This means that God’s promises are not random. He has appointed times in which certain things are released and fulfilled.

God keeps His appointments.

Whatever He has spoken concerning His people, He is able to bring it to completion.

4. See What God Is Doing

Jeremiah 1 records God asking Jeremiah, “What do you see?”

Jeremiah saw an almond tree, and God confirmed that he had seen correctly because God watches over His Word to perform it.

The almond tree became a picture of God’s ability to bring His Word to pass.

The message challenged believers to develop spiritual vision.

Before we experience change externally, there must often be a shift in what we are able to see spiritually.

In this Jubilee season, believers are encouraged to see:

• New possibilities
• Restoration
• Fruitfulness
• Expansion
• Family transformation
• Business and ministry growth
• The fulfilment of God’s promises

What God has spoken, He will validate.

5. Jesus Is the Fulfilment of Jubilee

Luke 4:18 presents Jesus announcing His mission:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…”

Jesus came to proclaim good news, freedom, forgiveness, healing and the favourable year of the Lord.

This means Jubilee ultimately points to Jesus Himself.

Jesus is the fulfilment of God’s restoration plan. Through Him, people receive freedom from bondage and are restored into relationship with God.

The Jubilee message is therefore not merely about material restoration. It is fundamentally about Christ, salvation and the freedom He provides.

6. The Sound of Jubilee

Jubilee was announced through the sound of a trumpet.

Apostle Mobili emphasized the significance of sound, proclamation and declaration.

Throughout Scripture, God’s people were instructed to speak, sing, praise and proclaim His Word.

The sound of Jubilee announces that:

• A new season has begun.
• Freedom has been released.
• Restoration is taking place.
• God’s promises will be fulfilled.
• His people are moving forward.

Believers were encouraged to use their voices to declare God’s Word and praise Him for what He is doing.

The sound of faith becomes a declaration of God’s purposes.

7. Jubilee and Prophecy Harvesting

Jubilee was presented as a season in which previously spoken prophetic promises can come into fulfilment.

Seeds that have been planted over many years may eventually produce a harvest.

The message encouraged believers to recognize that prayers, sacrifices, declarations and acts of faith from previous generations are not necessarily wasted.

There is a generation that can become a “prophecy harvesting generation”—people who experience the fulfilment of what God has spoken in previous seasons.

This is particularly significant for the next generation of Parklands Baptist Church.

The church is not only inheriting a legacy; it is stepping into promises and assignments that may have been established many years ago.

8. Divine Acceleration

Jubilee was also described as a season of acceleration.

God can bring together people, opportunities and circumstances to accomplish in a short period what might otherwise take many years.

The message encouraged believers who feel they have lost time to trust God for divine acceleration.

The emphasis was not simply on recovering lost time, but on recognizing that God can redeem time and bring His purposes to completion.

9. God Is a God Who Keeps His Word

The story of Jeremiah and the image of the almond tree reinforce an important truth:

God watches over His Word to perform it.

Circumstances may change. People may disappoint us. Seasons may be difficult. But God’s promises remain dependable.

Isaiah 55 reminds us that God’s Word does not return to Him empty. It accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it.

Therefore, the Jubilee season calls believers to trust God’s Word even when they cannot yet see the outcome.

10. Jubilee Is a Time of Rescue and Celebration

Psalm 91 was used to portray God as the One who rescues His people and brings them into a place of celebration.

Jubilee is therefore not only about surviving difficult seasons—it is about experiencing God’s intervention and having a testimony of His faithfulness.

The message described Jubilee as a “party”—a celebration of God’s goodness, rescue, restoration and fulfilment.

It is a season to celebrate because:

• God saves.
• God restores.
• God delivers.
• God fulfils His promises.

11. Personal Testimonies of Restoration

The message included testimonies illustrating the theme of restoration.

Stories of lost property and equipment being unexpectedly recovered were presented as examples of how people can respond to God’s Word with faith and prayer.

The central lesson was not simply about recovering physical possessions, but about trusting God for restoration and refusing to allow loss to become the final chapter.

God can turn situations of loss and shame into testimonies that bring glory to His name.

Conclusion

The Revival Switch represents a transition into a new season.

Jubilee announces:

• Freedom from bondage
• Restoration of what was lost
• Cancellation of debts
• Fulfilment of God’s promises
• Divine appointments
• Acceleration
• Revival
• Fruitfulness
• A new beginning

As Parklands Baptist Church enters its next 50 years, the call is to recognize the season and respond with faith.

The church and its people are encouraged to believe God’s Word, proclaim His promises, cultivate spiritual vision, embrace restoration and prepare for what God wants to accomplish in the coming generation.

The Jubilee is a reminder that God keeps His appointments, God watches over His Word, and what He has spoken will ultimately be fulfilled.

Jubilee Declaration

I am a child of Jubilee.
Freedom is my portion.
Restoration is my reality.
Favor is my atmosphere.
My inheritance is activated.
Divine acceleration is released.
I walk in divine appointments.
I will fulfil my God-ordained destiny.
This is my season of release.
This is my season of freedom.
This is my season of restoration.
This is my season of revival.
God’s purposes shall be established in my life.
