We are in a season of BREAKTHROUGH REALITIES, God is speaking to us in very clear terms. Jesus told those who had believed in Him [John 8:31-32]: "If you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
Jesus knew the power of His revelation when believed. A vision has been cast out, we must catch it and, we must be alert. Seed has been planted in good soil. We must not let thorns choke it. We must allow it to bear fruit, 30%, 60%, and 100%. We are told that David and his men faced the Philistines who had become a thorn in their flesh. The fights would go this way one day and another way the next day. Goliath had been killed but the Philistines still persisted. That is when David inquired of the Lord on what needed to be done. This is what we must do. Here is the passage of that encounter.
II Sam 5:19-20 AMP: "David inquired of the Lord, saying, 'Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand? And the Lord said to David. 'Go up, for I will surely deliver [them] into your hand.' And David came to Baal-perazim, and he smote them there, and said, 'The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like the bursting out of great waters.' So he called that place Baal-perazim [Lord of breaking through]."
The enemy was put to flight that day. God knows how to fight our battles. He has the power and the resources. He has the intelligence if we can only ask Him. What is God saying in all this?
We must hear the voice of God. We must follow Him when He leads. The Lord was concerned that this happens with those who follow Him. He said in John 10:27: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
God wants to do great things for us. We may have fought with situations in our lives and nothing seems to change. The enemy comes back again and again. We reach a stage and think that this is normal. We give the enemy a chance to camp on our land and harass us as he wills. This should not be the case. The Lord spoke through Hosea the prophet [Hosea 4:6]: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being a priest for me." Through Daniel the statesman the Lord said [Dan 7:25]: "I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgement was made in favour of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom."
Can you imagine this amazing revelation? When Daniel saw it, he took a stand against the works of the enemy. He knew his position and he knew the enemy's position. He also knew what the Lord had purposed for him. God is telling us that the battle has been won. We should no longer tolerate the enemy and think we are doing God a favour. Judgement has been made in our favour!
